Bond Construction Progress!

Congratulations to our newly inducted NHS members!

The Devine welding team did an awesome job at the Rising Star welding contest in San Marcos, TX.  All seniors that competed in the event came back with a $2,500 scholarship!  Quay Ortiz won 1st place in the level 3 category and 2nd in the Level 1 category and earned multiple scholarships and prizes totaling over $14k!! Quay also got a Dive coin for an underwater and diving event this summer at Ocean Corp in Houston. The team consists of Quay Ortiz, Zachary Ortiz, Gage Allan, Brady Loeffler, Alvin Mann, Marissa Sosa, Heston Lassere, Tanner Davis, and Samuel Alcantar.  We are super proud of these students!

Mr. Eddie from Texas A&M Agri-Life Extension shared a Watch Your BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration) presentation with our students & staff.  Students and staff benefited from this experience which was a part of Ava Rangel & Leighton Martinez's FCCLA project, The End of The Road.

Congratulations to the Ag Mech team members that went to The We Can Prospect Show in Laredo!  Reserve Grand Champion Metal project winner was Quay Ortiz.  Brady Loffeler exhibited a wood project.  Gage Allan and Alvin Mann exhibited a small metal project.
