Installing the Software:
The software is a Cisco product for connecting to a VPN, the package self extracts
into the directory of your choice
- Open Windows Explorer
- Click on your C:\ to make the contents display in the right pane.
- Create a temporary directory, right click in the right pane and select new folder.
- Name the new folder, I chose "a"
- Find the file you downloaded and double click it. A Winzip self extractor box opens.
- Under "unzip to folder" either type in c:\a or browse to the new folder you created.
- Click unzip, the files unzip to the selected folder.
- Move into the new folder (C:\a in my case), double click setup.exe.
- Complete the installation using the suggested defaults.
- Upon completion of installation an icon will be placed in your start
menu, example: Start/Programs/Cisco VPN Client.
NOTE: It has been brought to my attention that the AOL web browser will NOT display Gradespeed, Internet Explorer
when
used works fine.
