Kindergarten Registration
2007-2008 School Year

If you have a child who will be 5 on or before September 1st, they are
eligible to start Kindergarten next school year. Kindergarten registration
will be June 4th—June 7th and again, June 11th—15th. Office hours are 8
a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please bring your child with you for registration.  He
or she will receive a special book and visit briefly with a Kindergarten
teacher, who will conduct a brief screening to get a snapshot of your
child’s prior knowledge. This is a simple process in which your child will
share what he or she knows about the letters of the alphabet, their
corresponding sounds, numbers through 20, shapes, and colors.  
Items Required for Registration
The child’s original birth certificate
The child’s social security card
The child’s immunization record
The parent’s drivers license
Proof of Residency (this must be a utility bill)
