District Calendar Revision

At the regular scheduled board meeting on August 27, 2007, the school
board approved a district calendar revision. This summer, the Texas
Education Agency changed many of the TAKS testing dates.  Because the TAKS
tests were moved to the first week in March, the staff development/student
holiday that was scheduled for Friday, February 29, 2007,  will now be
rescheduled for Friday, February 22, 2007. This will allow for students to
be present the Friday before the TAKS tests now scheduled for the first
week of March and allows for our Middle School staff to attend the Texas
Middle School Conference in Austin on February 22nd.
