Kindergarten / Pre K / Headstart Registration

For the 2008—2009 School Year

 

WHEN: April 21st—April 24th

WHERE: Ciavarra Elementary School Library

TIME: 5:00 p.m.—7:00 p.m. 

 

WHAT TO BRING:

Child’s Birth Certificate

Child’s Immunization Record 

Child’s Social Security Card

Parent’s Driver’s License

Proof of Residency (electric or water bill only)

 

Please bring your child(ren) with you for registration.  He or she will
receive a special book and visit briefly with a kindergarten teacher, who
will conduct a brief screening to get a snapshot of your child’s prior
knowledge.

 

Students currently enrolled in Pre K do not have to register for
kindergarten, they will be automatically enrolled.

 

You may also register for Kindergarten each Friday in May from 8:30 a.m.
to 2:00 p.m. 

 

*** Head Start will also be available on those dates for 3 year old and 4
year old registration. All the above-mentioned items are required, as well
as Proof of Income (2007 -1040 Tax Form) and any proof of  Federal
Assistance such as WIC, Medicaid or TANF. If you need more information
