Below is the link for the 2008-09 school calendar that was adopted by the
school board on February 25th. . A link for a  black and white copy will
be available soon. Please note that the district will be returning to a
six-weeks grading period next year.

Please don't forget that this week Devine ISD will celebrate Education:
Got Get It Week in conjunction with Texas Public School Week. Scheduled
activities are listed below: 
Monday-March 10th- Devine Middle and High School will host “College Night”
in the DHS gym from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Twenty representatives from local
colleges and the military will have displays and be ready to answer
questions. A PowerPoint presentation will also be available for parents
and students to view and parents have the opportunity to visit with their
child’s teachers from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Tuesday-March 11th -J.J. Ciavarra Elementary, Devine Intermediate, and the
Parent Learning Network will host a Parent Breakfast and Alumni Day from
7:15-8:15 a.m. Students, parents, and teachers are asked to wear their
favorite college memorabilia.
Thursday-March 13th -J.J. Ciavarra Elementary will hold their Open House
from 5:00-6:30 p.m., and Devine Intermediate School will hold their Open
House from 6:00-7:00 p.m. The events for the week will conclude with the
second graders performing at the PTO meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the
Intermediate gym.
